Spay/Neuter
Downtown Dog Rescue is dedicated to helping not only the dogs of homeless people, but also to providing free mobile spay/neuter clinics in Compton, Watts, and S. Central LA). They spay/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped over 1,000 in 2005 and 2006; 1,500 dogs in 2007, and anticipate approximately 2,500 for 2008!

TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return)
Stray Cat Alliance is committed to the care and protection of the forgotten strays living in the shadows of our world. Their programs are a large piece of the puzzle in creating a “No Kill Nation,” where a home is found for every healthy or treatable companion animal, feral cats are fixed and properly cared for, and sterilization is readily available.
